When it comes to three-quels, it’s rare that a movie franchise can live up to its name, but judging by the critics, Men In Black 3 may have defied the odds.
In the third installment of the alien adventure film, Agent J (Will Smith) finds out that his old partner Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones) is in grave danger. In order to rescue K, and save humanity, J travels back in time to 1969 and teams up with K’s younger self (Josh Brolin).
Boosted by how well Men In Black 3 stayed consistent with its two predecessors, Josh Brolin is able to be a believable younger Tommy Lee Jones. Also to note is how well Will Smith carried the comedy aspects of the film. Critics certainly felt the film was worth the trip to the movie theater.
