In a new song and video by Mos Def, Mike Flo and dead prez called “Made You Die,” the MCs release their frustrations and anger over the killing of Trayvon Martin with biting lyrics and commentary that harken back to the original power of rap, when artists used their words to paint stories and scream out their pain. The rappers flow on top of instrumental from Nas’s seminal “Made You Look.” The result is a powerful and radical call to action.
