Willow Smith Goes Overseas for “Do It Like Me”

Willow Smith, 11-year-old singer and daughter of one of the biggest box office names in show business, has released her latest video, Do It Like Me (Rockstar).

The youngster, who traveled to London, Paris and New York to shoot the video, has thus far failed to jump the charts with her released singles—including 21st Century Girl and Fireball featuring Nicki Minaj—that followed Whip My Hair. That song, whose catchy chorus entered the cultural lexicon, was the first single from her debut album Knees and Elbows, and debuted at number 11 on the Billboard Top 100 and number five on the U.S. R&B chart. The song performed well internationally, debuting at number two on the U.K. R&B chart.

Though Whip My Hair was a major commercial success in the U.S. and internationally, her album and released singles have failed to garner the same attention.

Still, the 11 year-old, who in some circles has been dubbed “Baby Rihanna,” continues to exude a confident and kid-friendly appeal.

She recently tweeted that she would soon be working with British singer Kate Nash.
