Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard announced the name of their baby girl Gloria Ray via their publicist earlier today. Already proud parents to 5-year old Ramona, Maggie gave birth to her second daughter Gloria on April 19th.
Last month the then pregnant actress revealed to USA Today that her baby pictures won’t end up on the latest tabloid cover and she hopes the paparazzi will give her a break.
“I hope they don’t make an issue of it this time,” Gyllenhaal said. “I have to think about that stuff.”
Her husband Peter was more concerned about his daughter Ramona bonding with her sister Gloria,
“I’ve seen kids with siblings — I don’t have any siblings, so I don’t know — but they generally go for about five minutes, ‘Oh, cool! Anyway, what are we going to do now? Can we return it?’ I think it gets boring quickly, at first, and it takes a while for them to bond.”
