Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane debuted his feature film entitled Ted last night. This will mark his first attempt at humor on the big screen.
In Ted, Mark Wahlberg plays an adult man named John, who made a Christmas wish as a little boy for his teddy bear to come to life. After his wish comes true, the two grow an inseparable bond. In the story, once John becomes an adult, he falls in love with the woman of his dreams (Mila Kunis) who wants to take their relationship to the next level, forcing John to choose between keeping his friendship with his foul mouth bear, or his new beautiful girlfriend.
MacFarlane will be the voice of the severely obnoxious rude CGI bear.
Written and directed by Seth MacFarlane, the film’s stars include Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis, Giovanni Ribisi, and MacFarlane.
The Universal comedy is slated for a July 13th opening.
