'The Hunger Games' Stands Strong At #1 In Weekend Box Office Report

It’s another big weekend for Lionsgate’s The Hunger Games.  The film stood strong at # 1 domestically and nearly internationally despite two new big films coming out against it.

Fans seemed not to worry about the Wrath Of The Titans; while it did come in the second spot, the film failed to come close to the original’s grosses.

Mirror Mirror didn’t fair as well as Relativity Media anticipated. Despite the B+ CinemaScore, critics gave it a mild score.

And there is just no hope for Disney’s John Carter with its dismal numbers. Disney will take a major blow for this $200 million dollar flop. Now starting it’s 5th week, the film will be lucky if it reaches $70 million domestically, and in some theaters ticket prices are at a discounted price to lure in audience members.

Below is a complete list of this weekends box office.
