Dan Aykroyd And Chevy Chase Team Up For Another Comedy Movie

Dan Aykroyd has announced that he and Chevy Chase will possibly star in another film together. The actor-writer released a statement via his Facebook page mentioning that he is penning a new comedy movie together with Chase.

“Chevy (Chase) and I are about to start work on a script concept for a comedy movie,” Aykroyd wrote. “Cannot say too much about the concept, but the joy of working with him again is one that I am extremely excited about. Chevy is one of my favourite people, and one of the great anarchistic and physically committed comedians in the business.”

Back in the 1970s, both veteran actors started out as writers and actors on Saturday Night Live. Since then, the two have proven themselves as legends in the acting world. They teamed up for prior hit comedies such as Spies Like Us and Nothing But Trouble, which Dan Aykroyd directed.

At this time, Chase stars in NBC’s sitcom Community. Aykroyd, who’s been recently trying to convince Bill Murray to revive his character in Ghost Busters 3, is featured in the 2010 animated comedy Yogi Bear. The Pearl Harbor actor will also have a part in the upcoming Will Ferrell-Zach Galifianakis political comedy The Campaign.
