Rapper T.I. Gets TV Show Role In ‘Boss’

Rapper/actor T.I. has booked a season-long guest spot on the second season of the Starz TV series Boss.

Boss stars Golden Globe award-winning actor Kelsey Grammer as strict Chicago mayor Tom Kane. T.I., whose real name is Clifford Joseph Harris Jr. will play

“a former gangbanger with designs on a career in Chicago’s City Hall who represents a symbiosis between politics and crime in Chicago. He is the conduit between a local Alderman and the only group powerful enough to function as a grassroots organization in the projects – gangs.”(Deadline).

Harris is an American rap artist/actor. He is also the founder and co-chief executive officer (CEO) of Grand Hustle Records.

In 2006, T.I. starred in his first film, ATL. Then in 2007, he appeared in movie American Gangster alongside Denzel Washington, as Stevie Lucas. The entertainer’s latest movie appearance was in the crime heist film Takers.

The Boss TV show is produced by Lionsgate.
