Fantasia Barrino’s married baby father, Antwaun Cook, appears to want out of the outside family unit he helped to create just shy of their newborn’s three-month natal day, according to RadarOnline.com.
Antwaun is having second thoughts about stepping out on his wife and their two children and is making moves to right his wrong—a child-out-of-wedlock later.
The “Truth Is” singer, who already has a ten-year-old daughter (Zion) from a previous relationship, gave birth to Dallas December 13 and Cook’s name is in print as the father on the birth certificate.
Cook and the American Idol winner began dating while Cook was indeed still married, but Barrino maintains that the holy-matrimony was in shambles per the still-married man and she was oblivious when the tabloid got word of their tainted hanky-panky. But Cook’s legal wife wasn’t hearing it—she filed an “Alienation of Affection” lawsuit against the singer accusing her of making Antwuan stray. Of course by now, everyone had an opinion and the stress proved to be too much for Fantasia who failed at a suicide attempt.
Fast-forward from all that drama, Antwuan decides he wants out, well as out as you get from an already outside-fling.
In keeping with his alleged approach to get his family back, the couple, Cook and Paula, was spotted over the weekend at a Charlotte, N.C. nightclub and appeared to be quite cozy.
“I don’t know where Fantasia was, but she definitely wasn’t in the club where they were! Antwaun was shoving his tongue down [Paula’s] throat.”
According to the source, Paula was playing hard to get because she was bit awkward about the public affection, but wasn’t make any real attempts to prevent his advances.
‘He told Paula that she belongs to him because she’s still his wife!’
If the source is correct, this seems to be where he truly wants to be.
“Antwaun has lost interest in Fantasia,” the insider said. “He was even egging people on to take pictures of him and Paula together…he didn’t care who knew.”
