UPDATE-Chris Brown jetted out of Los Angeles on Tuesday with his girlfriend Karrueche Tran. Brown was fresh off his first Grammy win for Best R&B album and two performances following a three year hiatus after he was charged with assault against then girlfriend Rihanna. In the weeks leading up to the Grammys, Brown’s return to the stage and a possible reconciliation with ex girlfriend Rihanna took center stage. Post Grammys, Chris is learning the hard way that many are not willing to forgive or forget. The reaction to his Grammy appearance was harsh, persistent and unforgiving.
“Why wasn’t Chris Brown fired from ‘music’ (public dancing) when he beat up that girl?…Dear ‘thugs’ and ‘gangstas’ of the hip-hop industry, how is it that none of you ‘handled’ Chris Brown? #thuglife #prisonrules #getsome,”Ethan Suplee tweeted.
The negative reaction seemed to have fired up the ‘Turn up the Music’ singer when he tweeted,
“HATE ALL U WANT BECUZ I GOT A GRAMMY Now! That’s the ultimate F**** OFF!”
Before adding, “IM BACK SO WATCH MY BaCK as I walk away from all this negativity #teambreezygrammy.”
The former tweet was later deleted but others continue to appear like,
“Strange how we pick and choose who to hate! Let me ask u this. Our society is full of rappers (which I listen to) who have sold drugs (poisoning).
A source told Radar Online that a third party sent the tweets,
“Someone does his postings on Twitter and when he saw that he ordered it taken down immediately.”
With that said, Chris Brown needs to take a few cues of Ashton Kutcher and take a break from Twitter!
In a new update, a party goer confirms Chris did indeed attend Rihanna’s early birthday party on Sunday night along with Katy Perry and Bruno Mars.
“All I can say, CB was invited and she (Rihanna) was acting like the happiest girl on her birthday and probably got what she asked for,” tweeted on witness.
“By the end of the night [Rihanna and Katy] started a cake fight and were dancing together while Bruno and Chris looked on open-mouthed, cheering,” another told the UK Mirror. Before adding, “RiRi made sure Chris was having a good time but then he kept a low profile, spending most of the night in a corner with a few pals.”
