Black Entertainment Television (BET) is revamping it’s image and in the process banned Nicki Minaj’s explicit ‘Stupid Hoe’ music video. As the first single from Minaj’s sophomore album ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’ is garnering negative press left and right.
BET reportedly banned ‘Stupid Hoe’ from airing on it’s network due to the incessant use of the word ‘Stupid Hoe’, naked dolls, Nicki in a thong and the explicit lyrics.
Surely, the Super Bass rapper expected some backlash and heavy criticism when she tweeted two weeks ago,
“World Premiere. #StupidHoe Music Video. Can’t premiere on a network b/c its important that my art is not tampered with, or compromised prior to you viewing it for the 1st time.”
