Kim Kardashain has teamed up with Lifetime for a recurring role on Drop Dead Diva, the network has confirmed.
The reality star turned entrepreneur will join the cast’s fourth season to play ‘Nikki’ who is Ben Feldman’s character ‘Fred’s new love interest. Kim K is expected to throw some spice into the show’s plot as Fred will be working alongside his on-screen ex Stacy.
“I’m ecstatic to welcome Kim to the ‘Diva’ family,” the show’s creator and executive producer Josh Berman said to US Magazine. “In discussing the role of Nikki with her, I’m blown away by her smarts, sense of humor and passion. This series is all about reinvention and I’m so excited to see Kim ‘reinvented’ in the world of ‘Drop Dead Diva.’”
Kim commented on the new venture through her blog stating she too was “excited” to be part of the cast and she’s looking forward to working with the crew this summer.
This is a change of pace for Kim who managed to hang on to this TV role after losing several lucrative deals since the dissolution of her 72 day marriage from Kris Humphries.
Kim is also set to guest star as her herself in a February episode of ABC’s “Last Man Standing” and despite the Kardashian boycott to get her removed from Tyler Perry’s “The Marriage Counselor”, she will hit the big screen July 27.
With many roles in work, maybe Kim can put her failed marriage woes behind her and move on.
