According to sources, Demi Moore has pulled out of the Linda Lovelace biopic. The actress was going to play women’s rights activist Gloria Steinem in the movie.
Earlier this month, it was announced that Moore would play in the film, which includes Amanda Seyfried, Adam Brody, and Sharon Stone.
The Rob Epstein and Jerry Friedman-directed “Lovelace”, which follows the life of Deep Throat star and 1970s icon Linda Lovelace, began shooting in December.
Maybe the recent drop out has something to do with this?
A few days ago, Moore entered a rehab facility to recover from substance abuse after being rushed to the hospital Monday night.
The actresses reps released this statement, “Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health. She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends.”
