As Heidi Klum and Seal move forward with their separation more details continue to emerge around the shocking news. While Heidi has only said her piece through a joint statement, Seal who’s doing his promotional rounds for his new album, dished on the separation. His first round began with PBS’ Tavis Smiley,
“We have a tremendous amount of love and respect for each other and of course our children are our first priority and I think we pretty much said everything that we needed to say in the statement,” Seal stated when asked how he will move forward with his career.
Unlike other celebrity divorces that quickly went from amicable to nasty, Seal claims he an Heidi are above that.
“What one has to do in this situation is to remain civil, and to retain one’s dignity, to be professional, and to understand that we are not the only people on this planet that are going through this.It is just unfortunate a chapter of life.”
For his second round with Ellen DeGeneres, Seal revealed that both he and Heidi are still rocked by the separation.
“I think we were shocked. You go into these things with the greatest intentions when you say ‘I do’ and you say ”Till death do us part.’
