Chris Rock either doesn’t like politics, or doesn’t like Newt Gingrich. While leaving a Sundance party held by Google, the comedic actor reportedly smashed a videographer’s camera.
In the early hours of Monday after Rock was ambushed with a bunch of political questions, he went crazy. One witness said, “A guy walked up to Chris and his entourage and said ‘Hey, could I get a photo of you with my girlfriend?’ When he turned around, he found a video camera in his face, asking him about Gingrich.” Another witness said, “Chris pushed the interviewer and grabbed the camera. He smashed it so hard, it broke into pieces. He cursed the guy for filming when he had asked them to stop.”
After Rock destroyed the camera he reportedly asked the videographer, “Did you get your shot?” as he rushed towards the man right before security intervened. The actor’s reps declined to comment on the incident.
