When nine strangers are locked away in the basement of a New York high rise apartment to escape a nuclear blast, all hell breaks out. Trapped for days with no hope of rescue, the group begins to fall in to madness. As tension flares the group begins to turn on one another with violent aggression, and each attack becomes worse than the one before. With no more food or supplies, everyone begins losing their sanity…. and humanity… except one survivor who believes that he can escape this hell on earth, and sets out for salvation on the outside.
