UPDATE-Rihanna is in the business of making money. The hit maker was awarded the title as the best selling digital artist of all time. The news comes just one day after a video surfaced of singer-songwriter/producer The Dream revealing he made approximately $15 million from Rihanna’s 2007 hit ‘Umbrella’. “That record is probably somewhere around $15 mill,” said The Dream while visiting Tim Westwood during one of Rihana’s London tour stops.
With numbers like that it’s not surprising that Rihanna surpassed the likes of Eminen, Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga for the most digital downloads over the course of her career.

Rihanna can also celebrate her latest album ‘Talk That Talk’ hitting Gold on Billboard. After conquering much of 2011 hopefully can now find some time to rest. Late last year the singer suffered from numerous cases of exhaustion. In a recent tweet Rihanna revealed that even with the time off she finds it hard to sleep:
“Waited all yr+Finally I have time off, time 4 rest n quiet.Suddenly all the silence is being drowned by my thoughts! No sleep #HEAVY #SCARY (sic)”
