UPDATE-Beyonce’s pregnant news has remained the focal point for much of 2011. The ‘Single Ladies’ star continues to make a statement with her pregnant wardrobe that puts traditional maternity way to shame. Beyonce always travels in style, which was quite evident when she was recently spotted exiting various swanky NY shops such as Curve this past Tuesday in leopard leggings that apparently doubled as pants and buckled high heels.
Beyonce’s black button up top may have carefully hid her baby bump, but her motherly glow made it clear her due date was quickly approaching. Even her hot red nails glistened as the Who Run The World singer smiled and waved to the cameras. Talk about Christmas shopping in style!
In the latest issue of Jones magazine Beyonce opened up about growing into a fab young lady, courtesy of her supportive parents.
“I believe that parents prepare their kids for the moment that they’re on their own: at this point, I am taking everything my dad and my mother have taught me.” Adding, “And I’m able to do things my way.”

Meanwhile, the mommy to be dished on her holiday plans with family.
“I can’t say, it has to be a surprise, Beyonce responded when asked what she will get Jay-Z for Christmas. “Seriously, though, we both keep seeing super-cute stuff for the baby, so I am sure even our presents for each other will involve the baby in some way!”
What about her best friend Kelly Rowland, “Also Kelly has been so busy buying gifts for the baby, I think she might forget to buy for me this year! She is always seeing cute gifts for the baby in London.” So what will Christmas day look like in the Knowles-Carter household?
“I will be with family. We are both so busy throughout the year that Christmas is just a time to relax with family and count the many blessings in your life. Christmas Day is a no-TV zone. We just like to sit and talk together as a family.”
No doubt the best present will be a healthy baby boy or girl!
