Basketball Wives star Tami Roman has landed in hot water again after her ex manager Jerry Silverhardt filed a lawsuit in L.A. County Superior Court on Monday.
Before Basketball Wives many only knew Tami from her stint on MTV’s Real World in 1993!! It’s safe to say that BBW more than help reignite her all but dead career.
Roman’s ex manager Jerry Silverhardt is taking credit for this resurgence but claims he was duped from receiving proper compensation. Jerry confirms he only received payment for season two but is owed for season three which wrapped earlier this year. In addition to season three, Jerry claimed he entered into a verbal contract with Tami that promises 10% of her paychecks up to season 6!
Tami has since released a statement to TMZ denying the allegations,
“Mr. Silverhardt was terminated long ago and has been appropriately compensated for the personal management services he rendered. This is a sad attempt from a broken man to reap rewards on a situation he did not sow.”
A verbal contract though?? We don’t Tami will be losing any sleep over this one….
