Neve Campbell to star in Amish drama ‘Silence’ for Lifetime.
In this hour long drama, Campbell will play a girl who survive a series of violent murders the push her peaceful Amish farming community to the edge. Fifteen years later she returns to that community as chief of police and during a routine murder investigation something sparks emotions from her secret past that could be her undoing.
In addition Campbell has set in motion multiple development deals involving original scripted movies and dramas with the female centered network.
Lifetime has been in talks since 2009 in making large efforts to add original programming to their line-up. In August of this year Live time picked up original hour long drama ‘The Client List,’ starring Jennifer Love Hewitt.
