Beyonce Fake Pregnancy Rumors Only Bothered Her Mother

UPDATE-Beyonce pregnant news has remained a hot topic since the ‘Single Ladies’ pop star announced the news in August at the MTV VMAs. Friday night for the first time Beyonce Knowles opened about the fake pregnancy rumors that began after her now infamous appearance on an Australian talk show. Beyonce also dished on her pregnancy cravings, her due date, the sex of her baby, eating for two and husband’s Jay-Z‘s excitement.

On the fake pregnancy rumors:
“There are certain things that are so far [out] that it doesn’t even upset you. My mother (Tina Knowles), she’s like, ‘Nobody’s talking about my grandbaby! My grandbaby’s not even here yet!’ I’m like, ‘Calm down, mom. It’s okay. It’s really silly.’ ‘I don’t like it!’ So my mom is really protective and so is my sister, but I’m cool. It’s so ridiculous and over the top.”

It’s refreshing to know that Beyonce isn’t stressing over the rumors. It was also revealed that Beyonce will take a year off after giving birth, hence why her biggest film to date directed by Clint Eastwood was pushed back. In terms of her weight which she will no doubt drop within a few months after birth, Bey is being proactive on not losing control.

“I’ve been trying my best not to lose control. Because I’ve met so many people that say, ‘My second baby, my third baby, I’ve learned my lesson. So I haven’t been going crazy. I know it’s important that I don’t lose myself.’

Speaking of her weight Beyonce and Katie had a laugh over the range of pregnancy cravings she reportedly had.

“I read that I like ketchup on everything.” “I read that too,’ answers Katie, ‘Is it true?’

‘Not true!’ Beyonce giggled.

Beyonce adds, ‘I was on a plane and the flight attendant came and was like, I have your hot sauce and pickles and bananas. I’m like, that is disgusting! What are you doing? And he’s like, I read it on the internet!’ (lol)

On the due date and the sex of her baby Beyonce was less forthcoming. Couric asked if she should purchase a pink or blue present and even added that Kelly Rowland referred to the her unborn as “she” but Beyonce simply smiled and responded, “hmmm”. On the due date of her boy or girl Beyonce revealed,

“The truth is, it’s safety. I just want to make sure I can have a peaceful day. And I want to make sure my child is protected.
