Basketball Wives are still got up in lawsuits. This time Miami star Evelyn Lozada is suing a gossip site for running a story that allegedly damaged her reputation – we’re guessing Evelyn likes to do all the damaging herself. Last month reports surfaced that Evelyn was not only pregnant but she also had an affair with Terrell Owens, Evelyn’s fiance Chad Ochocinco’s BFF.
Both Terrell and Evelyn were forced to deny the rumors on Twitter..Here’s Ev’s response
“***RUMORS TO CLEAR UP*** I am not pregnant people and me and @ochocinco are still together! STOP BELIEVING THE LIES ‘THIS’ BLOG POSTS!!”
“OH 1 MORE RUMOR TO CLEAR UP ME & @terrellowens NEVER dated before/during my relationship with @ochocinco. People are sick & karma is a b!*ch!”
Reportedly Evelyn requested the website, mediatakeout.com to remove the story. After her requests were denied, Evelyn and her attorney decided to sue for “consequential damages” due to “defamatory” statements made by mediatakeout.com. Amongst other things, the site is being sued for damaging Evelyn’s reputation “both as a television personality and as a small business owner. They also have caused her to suffer severe emotional distress.”
Interesting…Evelyn is reportedly seeking $15,000 in damages. So does this mean Evelyn is NOT quitting Basketball Wives?? 🙂 Sounds like it..
