Raven Symone's Show Axed; Ne-Yo Gets Engaged & Expecting Second Child

Raven Symone, the newly slimmed down and gorgeous actress received some no so good news when it was announced that her new show State of Georgia was axed. The ABC Family sitcom was Raven’s first foray into an adult storyline. The first time proved unsuccessful for Raven who enjoyed years of success under Disney with That’s So Raven.

Hopefully for the gorgeous 25-year old star she will land on her feet!

In other news, R&B artist and actor Ne-Yo announced his engaged and expecting his second child with long time girlfriend Monyetta Shaw. The couple are already parents to 10-month old Madilyn Grace. Monyetta is reportedly already 8 months pregnant!!!

Last year Ne-Yo was super excited about his daughter coming into this world he tweeted then,

“She’s healthy and happy. Feels like I’m in luv for the first time,” he tweeted. “Welcoming that lil’ girl to the world last night defined for me what ‘willing to kill and die for’ truly means. My world, my life, all hers.”

No doubt the second bundle will be just as exciting. As Ne-Yo continues to expand his career taking on more acting roles; Monyetta is busy, pregnant and all, with her Atlanta boutique Emaralyn and Ester.

Congrats all around on the baby news – not so much on the engagement news just yet, as reports are conflicting, ironically between Ne-Yo and Monyetta’s camp who confirmed two different stories to the same source US Weekly. This is eerily similar to last year’s dust up when Ne-Yo stated he wasn’t ready to take the plunge,

“I’m not ready to go there yet. I’m not ready yet. I can be 100 percent honest with her and the whole world when I say, ‘I’m not ready to go there yet.’ The last thing that I’m gonna do is claim that I’m ready to go there and then mess it up. I’m gonna wait until I’m all the way ready. She’s being patient with me so we’re good! It is where it is!”

Hopefully this gets straightened out soon, in the meantime congrats again to Ne-Yo and Monyetta on their second pregnancy!
