Nicki Minaj must be happy her tour dates didn’t overlap with New York Fashion week because the girl has been everywhere!! The Super Bass singer/rapper was spotted looking rather low key at Oscar de la Renta – OK – not completely low key but certainly not as crazy as her previous get-ups! Nicki was head over heels for Oscar. She tweeted before the show,
“Oscar De La Renta w/my date Anna Wintour again. Oscar is a very handsome man. So is Valentino. Tell ya all about the collection in a bit!”
What did she think of the collection?
“In awe over what she saw on the runway, the 28-year-old tweeted upon show’s end, “OMFG! Someone get me an ambulance. Upon seeing Oscar De La Renta’s new line, I’m #! %*#ing GAGGING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Nicki may love Oscar but she adores her soul mate Betsey Johnson even more. Minaj donned a blue wig and a Betsey Johnson piece to her runway show. She tells MTV about meeting the designer,
“She’s a free spirit. When I met her the other day, I felt like I knew her for my whole life. She’s so warm and considerate and caring. She’s amazingly talented and I’ve been wearing her clothes forever, so to meet her was like, ‘Yay!’ [I was] bowing down to her; she’s dope!”
Betsey Johnson was equally impressed with Nicki,
“I was watching Nicki Minaj and my daughter Lulu, and I’m thinking, ‘They are the body type,’ ” Johnson said of making the looks for her spring line. “I love [Nicki] and she really wears my stuff. She likes real tight; she’s just my most, most, most favorite girl right now.”
Do we hear a Nicki and Betsey collaboration in the works?? Won’t be surprised…
