Glee star Lea Michele is a certified stan for Bethenny Frankel’s Skinnygirl Sangria. The reality TV star turned stellar business woman was on hand to launch her latest concoction from the popular line at Gramercy Park Hotel in New York city.
Beth tells Celebuzz,
“Lea Michele is a big fan of Skinnygirl Margarita, so I sent her the Sangria before the launch, and she loves it! But what’s not to like? Guilt free sangria and margarita.”
After leaving the “Real Housewives of New York City”, getting married, having a child and now her own reality TV show “Bethenny Ever After,” Bethenny is focusing solely on building an empire. Skinnygirl reportedly sold for over $100 million and Bethenny isn’t stopping at margaritas.
There is Skinnygirl Face & Body Solutions and Skinnygirl Mommy. Bethenny says of the skincare line,
‘A $150 eye cream is ridiculous and absurd. Skin care can be confusing and I want to be straightforward.’
‘I don’t make false promises. I don’t want people to think in three days they’ll have no cellulite. That’s not going to happen.
There’s also Smoothers n’ Shapers shapewear line, as well as nutritional products that include a daily cleanse called Skinnygirl Daily Cleanse & Restore.
She said of her multiple ventures: ‘I have no idea how people could just stamp their name on something. I’m obsessed. I use everything, I named every single product. I created the packaging and the logo.’
So while Jill, Luann and others bicker on the Real Housewives of New York City, Bethenny is building her empire one product at a time.
