Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have decided to end their seven year marriage. The news appears to be abrupt for many of J. Lo and Marc Anthony’s fans as the two appeared happy together almost all the time! The pair married in 2004 and diligently worked on building an empire together. Jennifer and Marc were traveling through Latin America recently to work on their version of American Idol for Latin artists called Que Viva. The two also have 3 year old twins Max and Emme.
Jennifer and Marc broke the shocking news to People,
“We have decided to end our marriage. This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters.”
“It is a painful time for all involved,” the statement continues, “and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time.”
“An amicable conclusion on all matters”?? Already, after seven years of marriage?! Maybe this isn’t as abrupt as it appears. Jennifer was just enjoying a surge in her career after a long slump – could this have been a factor? Just a thought…
